US Shipping Update - Temporary Pause
Last updated: 1st September 2025
1st September 2025
The new US tariff charges are now in effect, and we finally have more clarity on what this means. Orders shipped from the UK to the USA are now subject to a 10% tariff fee, rather than a flat fee. This fee is in addition to the order and shipping costs, and is a requirement set by US customs, not myself.
I’m currently working on setting up my store so that this tariff fee is included at checkout using a Delivery Duty Paid (DDP) system. This means the tariff will be shown and paid upfront at the time of purchase, helping to avoid any unexpected charges after your order is shipped.
Thank you for your patience while these changes are being implemented, I’ll share another update once everything is fully in place.

From 11:59pm BST on Friday 15th August 2025, I will be temporarily pausing shipments to the USA.
From 29th August 2025, the US government will end its de minimis exemption. This means all shipments—regardless of value—will be subject to import duties and fees. In some cases, this could mean a flat tariff fee of $80–$200 per parcel, even for items costing $10 or less.
This flat rate is currently expected to last for around six months while international postal systems update their procedures. After that, it’s unclear whether fees will switch to percentage-based rates, depend on the country of origin, or follow another calculation.
Until there is more clarity, I believe it’s best to pause US shipping. I can’t in good conscience ship orders without customers being aware of these additional fees, or expecting them to pay such high costs.
This is not only deeply disappointing for me as a small business owner, but also for customers. These are challenging times, and this change feels like another blow for both small businesses and those who support them.
If you’d like to place an order before the pause, I’ll do my best to ensure it arrives before the new tariff rules take effect.
I will keep this page updated as soon as there are any changes.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support, it truly means a lot.
