"Kindle" marks the beginning of the Life & Death series, a moment of stillness lit by a single flame. Painted during a time of personal burnout, it became a quiet act of reconnection. I had stepped away from what I knew, reaching for something unfamiliar, uncertain if the spark that once guided me was still there. Like the fleeting beauty of a fading rose, this piece became a way to slow down and return to what mattered, reminding me that even in uncertain times, light can be rekindled. 

The Life & Death collection reflects my fascination with impermanence, how everything, no matter how beautiful, is fleeting. A reminder to slow down, to notice, and to cherish what we hold… before it fades into memory.

“Kindle” is an original oil painting on wood panel, framed in black with subtle gold detailing. It has been finished with a protective varnish and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity. The frame includes fixtures on the back, allowing it to be either hung on the wall or displayed standing.
